Privacy Policy
Goodnight Tales is made for children, so we keep things simple and safe.
The short version: We do not collect personal information from anyone, and we never collect any information from or about children. We do not show advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not track people across the web. Goodnight Tales is free to read and to hear.
Who we are
Goodnight Tales is a free collection of gentle bedtime stories published by Moonhollow Books. You can read the stories or listen to them on our website and through our podcast feed.
Information we do not collect
- We do not ask for, or store, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal details.
- We do not require an account, login, or sign-up to read or listen.
- We do not knowingly collect any information from children. This is a child-directed service, and we treat it that way.
Anonymous visit counts
So we can understand which stories families enjoy, our website may record a small, anonymous count of page visits — only the page that was opened and, if available, the website that linked to it. This information is aggregated, contains no personal details, and cannot be used to identify any person or device. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Advertising and profiling
We do not display behavioral or personalized advertising. We do not allow third parties to profile visitors. In keeping with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and our “Made for Kids” designation on video platforms, personalized ads and data-driven tracking are turned off for our content.
Third-party platforms
You may also find our stories on podcast apps (such as Apple Podcasts or Spotify) and on video or social platforms. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We publish our content there but do not collect data through them.
For parents and guardians
This site is designed to be safe for children to use with a parent or guardian. If you have any questions about this policy, or believe we may have inadvertently received information from a child, please contact us at moonhollowx@gmail.com and we will promptly address it.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the site works in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page. The date below shows when it was last reviewed.
